About Bison Maintenance Services

One trusted local team for everything that keeps your home running. Bison Maintenance Services was built around a simple idea: most homeowners don't want to juggle four different contractors for their air quality, plumbing, and electrical needs — and they don't want to be turned away because their job is “too small” to bother with. We handle the whole list, from a full-house duct cleaning to a single light fixture install.

Why Bison

Genuinely Local

Based in Winnipeg, working across Manitoba — we're not a national franchise dispatching whoever's free.

No Job Too Small

A running toilet or one dead outlet gets the same straightforward, professional treatment as a full bundle booking.

Available Around the Clock

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — home problems don't wait for business hours, so neither do we.

Straight Answers

If a job turns out to be bigger than expected, or outside our scope, we'll tell you directly instead of working around it quietly.

Why we started Bison

Bison Maintenance Services grew out of a straightforward frustration: it shouldn't take five phone calls and five different companies to keep a Winnipeg home running — one for the furnace, another for the ducts, a third for a leaky faucet, a fourth for an outlet that stopped working. We built Bison to be the one call that actually covers all of it.

The second frustration was smaller jobs going unanswered. Call around about a single dead outlet or a toilet that won't stop running and you'll often get voicemail, or a quote that makes it clear the job isn't worth anyone's time. Those jobs are worth doing, and they're worth doing properly. We take them.

How we work

You get a price before we start, and that price is what you pay. If we open something up and find a bigger problem underneath, we stop and talk it through with you before doing any additional work — you decide what happens next. If a job turns out to need a trade we don't cover, we'll tell you that plainly instead of attempting it anyway.

When we're finished we'll show you what we did and explain it in plain language. On duct work that usually means before-and-after photos of your own system — you can see a set of those on our recent work page.
